Hey! My name's Senia Johnson, and I'm a sophomore here at Illinois State. I'm majoring in business administration, but I am also a pre-law student! I’m especially interested in how business and law intersect, and I hope to eventually build a career that allows me to advocate for others while working in a professional, fast-paced environment. I take a lot of pride in my academics and have been recognized on the Dean’s List, as well as inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society for business students.
I’m originally from Chicago, which has shaped a lot of who I am today. Growing up in the city gave me a strong sense of independence and a love for being around different people and perspectives. Outside of school, I’m really passionate about giving back to my community. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and food pantries, which are experiences that have meant a lot to me and continue to motivate me to stay involved.
In my free time, I love anything that helps me unwind and stay creative. I’m a huge fan of Gilmore Girls (comfort show forever), and I enjoy writing, keeping up with current topics, and finding new ways to express my ideas. Through Her Campus, I’m excited to share my perspective, connect with other students, and contribute content that’s both meaningful and relatable.
