Scout is a second year student at the University of Virginia from Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, in the suburbs of Philadelphia. At UVA, she is majoring in cognitive science with a concentration in psychology, and a minor in astronomy.
Along with Her Campus, Scout writes for the university's art and culture publication, V Magazine. She is also involved with College Mentors for Kids, and numerous psychology societies. Scout hopes to pursue a career in social work and psychiatry.
In her free time, Scout loves watching movies, spending time hiking, painting watercolors, and making crafts!
