Hii!
My name is Sasha Dixon and I was born and raised on the south side of Chicago . I am a sophomore at the University of Houston double majoring in supply chain management and marketing with the hopes of one day becoming a buyer or purchasing agent for a fashion or beauty based company. Studying abroad in Singapore and Rio de Janeiro are just some of my future goals while I'm in college, as I am eager to immerse myself in different cultures and gain international experiences.
Outside of academics, I am passionate about the ins-and-outs of the fashion industry and selling vintage pieces on Poshmark! I love to take dance classes in genres such as ballet, jazz, and hip hop and in my past, I was a member of a company and high school performance dance team. I also enjoy working in broadcast and media production as an intern with UH's Athletics Department and their partnership with ESPN+. As a student I take part in organization like Women of Gold, which aim to empower women-especially women of color-to establish meaningful relationships with the community, build leadership skills, and focus on the importance of self-care and individuality.
