I am a journalism student at Kent State University with a passion for storytelling, both behind the camera and on the stage. As an aspiring journalist and actress, I have always been drawn to the power of stories and the ability they have to connect people, challenge perspectives, and create understanding. Whether I am reporting a story or stepping into a character, I strive to approach every experience with curiosity, empathy, and authenticity.
My love for storytelling comes from my belief that everyone has a story worth hearing. I am especially passionate about sharing the experiences of people whose voices are often overlooked, misunderstood, or left out of the conversation. Through journalism, I hope to shine a light on those stories and create space for people to be seen, heard, and understood.
As I continue my education and career, I hope to combine my experiences in journalism and acting to become a storyteller who can connect with people in meaningful ways. I want my work to not only inform and entertain, but also encourage others to listen, empathize, and see the world from perspectives different from their own. Ultimately, I hope to use my voice to amplify the voices of others.
