Hi, I'm Ridhi (but everyone calls me RJ). I'm a Bioengineering major at Temple, working my way toward medicine, one caffeine-fueled study session at a time. I like the science side of things, but I've never been able to stick to just one lane.
Writing has always been the thing I come back to. I did Impromptu Speaking on my high school's Speech and Debate team, which means I'm pretty used to being handed a random topic and forced to have opinions about it on the spot. I've also spent the last few years writing a full-length sci-fi novel, mostly during hours I probably should've spent sleeping.
Outside of that, I make art in whatever form I can — digital drawings, graphite sketches, acrylic paintings, and the occasional weird math-based project just to see if I can pull it off. I moved to the U.S. from India, I'm fluent in Hindi, and I've picked up a habit of noticing the small, slightly chaotic details in everyday life that most people skip past. That's basically what I want to write about here — the real, honest, occasionally ridiculous parts of college that are worth paying attention to.
