Reagan Hughes is a Public Relations committee member at the Her Campus Texas A&M chapter. As part of her responsibilities, she contributes to the design and creative elements of various promotional materials, as well as assisting in promoting local events through press releases.
Beyond Her Campus, Reagan is seasonally employed as a festive elf at Aggieland’s local holiday theme park ‘Santa’s Wonderland.’ Currently a freshman at Texas A&M University, she is studying engineering with the hopes of going into Material Sciences and Engineering. She is actively involved in student organizations such as the Society of Women Engineers and the American Chemical Society Texas A&M chapter. Additionally, she has written for, and been published in, the Poetic Power book through Creative Communications.
Outside of her academic and professional responsibilities, Reagan enjoys rainy days spent cozied up and relaxing with a good book. She unwinds through recreational sports and experimenting artistically with a variety of mediums, though ballpoint pen is her go-to. Her favorite beverages include iced vanilla matcha lattes, hot coffees, and Dr. Pepper. She can nearly always be found at Aggieland Trivia sponsored events, or in the engineering building studying for upcoming exams, or at least attempting to.
