Pia Franzese

Hi, my name is Pia Franzese! I was born in New York City and moved to Short Hills, New Jersey, where I grew up for most of my life. I attended Oak Knoll School, a small Catholic school in Summit, New Jersey, where I was involved in leadership roles, including Peer Leaders and Student Ambassadors. I also grew up playing tennis and played on my school's varsity tennis team throughout high school. Beyond playing sports, I have always loved watching tennis, hockey, and baseball, and I have developed an interest in writing about sports as well. I am currently a freshman at Wake Forest University, where I am excited to explore my interests and meet new people. I have always had a passion for writing and expressing myself creatively. Growing up, my mom worked in the fashion industry, which sparked my interest in fashion from a young age. The combination of fashion and writing has always drawn me in and ultimately led me to Her Campus. I love how fashion allows people to express their individuality, while writing gives them a way to share their perspectives and stories. I am excited to combine my interests in fashion, sports, and writing while contributing to a community that celebrates creativity and self-expression!
