Nyla Folk is a second-year student at the University of Virginia, double-majoring in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and African American and African studies with a minor in Entrepreneurship.
At UVA, Nyla is a part of the Food Assist Advocacy Team and a Teaching Kitchen Assistant at Student Health and Wellness. She is also an intern with the Social Media and Marketing Team at the Maxine Platzer Lynn's Women Center.
Nyla is a New Jersey native. Some of her favorite hobbies back home include running a small cupcake business and making frequent visits to New York City. She also enjoys reading, walking, spending time with friends, and trying new coffee shops!
