I'm Melanie Petersen and I am a junior at Central Michigan University. I am currently studying journalism with a concentration in public relations and event management. I'm from Riverview, Mich., which is a small city about 20 minutes south of Detroit. I love reading and writing about things I'm passionate about. I am a member of Phi Sigma Sigma, Meeting Professionals International, and the CMU Event Ambassadors. My dream for some time now has been to travel the world and write about my experiences. A couple random facts about me: my favorite color is grey, most played on my iTunes would be The Lumineers and Tom Petty, I have a soft spot for pit bulls, and I wish to own a sailboat one day.
