Maya Flores is a Freshman majoring in Biology CMG at Boston University. She’s part of the events team at the Her Campus BU chapter. Together, she helps in planning main events by bringing new inspirations and budgeting. She’s originally from Talent, Oregon. However, she enjoys the vibrant student life at Boston University and is adapting to the city. Her articles also feature her new discoveries in Boston.
Beyond Her Campus, Maya centers herself between a healthy academic balance in major intensive courses and lab work. She’s also seeking to participate in research opportunities on campus to further enrich professional experiences by utilizing the UROP program for undergraduates. She also devotes time to volunteer work, to develop essential skills such as communication, time management, and events planning.
