Madison Kuriger is a Junior at Virginia Tech pursuing a dual degree in National Security & Foreign Affairs and Arabic, with a minor in Leadership Studies. As a member of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets, she is deeply committed to service, leadership, and academic excellence. Madison currently holds multiple leadership roles within the Corps. She is also the President and Founder of G.L.O.W. (Growing Leaders of Women), a professional development organization for female cadets.
Professionally, Madison has cultivated a strong background in intelligence and international affairs. She interned with U.S. Coast Guard Sector New York as an Intelligence Intern, briefing at interagency meetings and analyzing weekly threat reports. She also conducts research for the Hume Center for National Security and Technology, focusing on academic espionage and AI narrative competition. This past summer, Madison studied Arabic intensively in Morocco through the Arab American Language Institute, gaining firsthand experience with the language, culture, and regional geopolitical dynamics.
When she's not studying or in uniform, Madison enjoys working out, running (she's training for a HYROX!), yoga, exploring museums or farmers markets, and planning spontaneous trips—her latest being a solo trip to Costa Rica. Passionate about diplomacy and public service, she dreams of working as a Foreign Service Officer one day.
