Hi! My name is Madeleine Krieger and I am a Freshman at Boston University, studying Journalism in the College of Communications. I’m from New Jersey and I am super excited to be a part of Her Campus at BU!
I was inspired to join HCBU because their mission of providing a platform for young women to share their voices and skills was so personal to me. As a young woman and student who is passionate about writing, I was seeking a place to share my thoughts without being judged and not taken seriously. Learning about HCBU showed me that this organization was exactly what I needed.
Like I mentioned before, I am extremely passionate about writing, both in various school publications as well as my own blog. I love to write about fashion, film, music, pop culture, and everything entertainment. I also love to write honest pieces about my own emotions and experiences in my life in hopes of making my readers feel seen just as I have with other people’s writing.
Some of my favorite publications are Vogue, The New Yorker, Interview Magazine and The New York Times. And, of course, Her Campus! I am so grateful to be a part of the Her Campus Team and I can’t wait to get involved.
