My name is Lindsay Beyer, and I am currently a Sophomore at Virginia Tech. I am a Public Relations major, and just added the Professional Sales minor and the Event and Experience Management minor. I am from Richmond, Virginia.
Last year I was a Food Science major, and I learned a lot about myself through this major. While there were a lot of cool opportunities, I realized it was not for me! Switching to communications has allowed me to be my chatty self, allowed me to be creative, and most importantly it has made me feel passionate about everything I am doing here at Virginia Tech! I have felt so much more confident and excited in this major, which makes me incredibly happy.
I am very grateful to now to be a part of Her Campus and surround myself with so many smart and awesome women!
