Hope Kerrigan is a fourth-year contributing writer and member of the executive editing team for Her Campus CU Boulder. She is pursuing bachelor's degrees in English literary analysis and sociology on the pre-law track. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Hope is thrilled to be part of the Her Campus sisterhood.
Hope's love of writing was nurtured by her father, Mike Kerrigan, an attorney and editorial writer for The Wall Street Journal. He is one of her best friends and her biggest inspiration, and he encouraged her to believe she could be a published writer, too.
Outside of class, Hope serves as the Executive Aide of External Affairs for CU Student Government, volunteers as a Community Representative with CU Boulder's Restorative Justice Office, and writes for Colorado's Arts & Sciences Magazine. When she isn't working, learning, or writing, she enjoys reading Toni Morrison, playing guitar, practicing yoga, and rewatching "Arrested Development." Hope is honored to work alongside such a talented and capable team of writers and friends.
