Jules Kudlick (she/her) from Newark, Delaware is currently a Freshman English major writing from the Her Campus at Ithaca College chapter. She’s long found writing to be an apt outlet for her strong (and never-ending) opinions, even winning a state-level Gold Key twice and a national Silver Medal this past year from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.
Hand-in-hand with that interest is her love for reading. While she can’t pick a favorite book, author, or genre, she thinks it important to mention that she adores everything from mid-century French poetry to Shakespearean plays to Rick Riordan’s Greek mythological universe. She wants to teach English language and literature at a high-school level, and looks forward to analyzing some of her favorite texts with students.
Outside of writing and reading, Jules can be found dancing! She has learned dance for 10 years at Delaware Arts Conservatory, where she was on the performing and competing Company and hip-hop team from 2020-2025. Now at Ithaca College, she’s in the Defy Dance Company and Tap Company. Her favorite style of dance is contemporary, but she’s well-versed and extensively trained in pretty much any style. She’s looking to add a dance minor soon!
