Jenya Pandey is a Chapter Writer for the Her Campus MUJ chapter, where she covers the quiet intersections of everyday life that often go unnoticed. Drawn to observation and reflection, she explores a wide range of themes through her writing. Her work focuses on moments of transition and uncertainty, especially the kind that come without warning or closure. At Her Campus, she strives to write stories that resonate with readers navigating change and self-discovery, prioritizing authenticity, nuance, and emotionally grounded storytelling.
She completed her schooling in Fujairah, UAE, where she developed an early foundation in public speaking and creative expression. She was the youngest speaker at her school, first stepping on stage at the age of four, and later went on to win multiple elocution competitions, including the Sunny Varkey elocution competitions. Alongside writing, she has been involved in Model United Nations conferences, hosting, speeches, and poetry. She is currently a first-year student at Manipal University Jaipur, pursuing a B.Tech in Biotechnology, balancing science, dreams, storytelling, and the occasional academic existential crisis.
Outside of writing, her interests range from murder mysteries and conspiracy theories to arts and crafts. She’s an unapologetic coffee enthusiast, especially on thunder-heavy days, and curates playlists that move easily across genres, from ghazals to pop to old classics. Deeply drawn to poetry and introspection, she enjoys collecting unfinished thoughts, revisiting old memories, and finding language for feelings that are usually left unspoken. Sarcastic by default and reflective by nature, she hopes her writing feels like a quiet conversation that stays with readers long after they’ve finished reading.
