Hello, my name is Jade Hernandez! I am currently a third-year student at the University of Massachusetts Boston majoring in International Relations with a minor in Biology. In addition to being a part of Her Campus, I am also a member of the women’s NCAA DIII volleyball team and work as head coach of a youth girls club volleyball team.
I’m from Orange County, California where I have grown up my whole life. I absolutely love going to the beach and watching the sunset. I also enjoy reading, hanging out with friends, live music, and exploring Boston. Being about 2,500 miles away from home I have had so much to explore and learn about my new city and have loved doing so with my friends by my side.
Through my articles I hope to share my tips on the best restaurants, new recipes, and everything and anything else food related. I have a big passion for food and I believe it can bring many groups of people together by exploring new cultures through it. Because of this I love to go out to new places to eat and try new recipes. I am very excited to share my food journey with everyone!
