Evie Campbell is a History and History of Art student at the University of Glasgow and writes for the University of Glasgow Her Campus chapter, where she’s particularly interested in how visual culture and historical narratives overlap. Her academic work often circles around the idea that art isn’t just something to look at, it’s something that actively shapes how we understand the past.
Evie is a member of the Young People's Collective at the V&A Dundee, where she organises events and exhibitions to encourage people to learn about art and design. Through this, she has written articles about her experience being a member of the Collective, urging young people to take part.
Outside of university, Evie spends time knitting and reading, usually with a strong coffee nearby. But she is also likely to be found hiking or wild swimming, where she can de-stress from university deadlines.
