Emma-Grace Callan-Bennink is currently pursuing an MA in English at the University of Toronto. Her research interests include postmodern literature, feminist theory, and psychoanalysis. Before entering the MA program she completed an undergraduate degree at the U of T with a double major in English and Anthropology.
Emma-Grace enjoys writing of all kinds, whether it be academic, journalistic, or creative. With all of her writing, she aims to put to words human experiences, whether they be big or small, in such a way that makes people feel understood and connected to one another. She is currently working on a contemporary fiction novel which she hopes to publish one day.
When she is not studying or writing, Emma-Grace enjoys reading novels of all genres. She loves listening to music, travelling, and exploring new cities and neighbourhoods by taking long walks. She can often be found baking and is always looking for inspiration for what sweet treat she can cook up next!
