Emily Colmenero is a staff writer at the Her Campus FSU Chapter. She’s responsible for writing articles based on lifestyle, culture, and campus life, creating content that speaks directly to the experiences of women at FSU.
Beyond Her Campus, Emily has gained experience in advocacy and community service through her work with the International Rescue Committee, where she supported anti-trafficking casework and helped connect clients with resources across the Miami area. She is currently a Teach For America Fellow, where she is gaining experience supporting students and contributing to educational equity. At FSU she is majoring in Political Science with a minor in Communications on the pre-law track, with hopes of becoming a civil rights attorney.
During her free time, Emily loves traveling, making endless Pinterest boards, and spontaneously breaking out into song and dance. She is also obsessed with musicals, so good luck finding one she hasn’t seen.
