Eden Tesfaye is a part-time writer at Her Campus for York University. She enjoys writing articles that fall into the categories of life, wellness, and culture. Eden is very passionate about writing because it allows her to connect with her readers through their shared interests and life experiences. She believes that it's important to provide a voice for readers through her writing and encourage them to feel seen, heard, and accepted within their communities.
Beyond Her Campus, Eden has worked as one of the writers and interviewers for Heritage Mississauga. She has written articles that were published on Modern Mississauga and that highlighted Mississaugans' memories and connections to their city. She has also written for the Oakville Times and captured stories about the injustices that many individuals face in society.
In her free time, Eden watches romcoms/sitcoms, reads books, and listens to music. Recently she's discovered a new comfort show, Abbott Elementary, and she can't seem to stop bingeing it! She also loves to rewatch some of her favourite rom-coms such as 27 Dresses and Crazy Rich Asians. Eden also gets super excited about discovering new musicians and even listening to older songs by some of her favourite artists such as Alicia Keys, Laufey, and BTS.
