Daniela “Dani” Chavarría Salas is a first-year international student at the University of St Andrews, studying Social Anthropology and International Relations. Originally from Costa Rica and raised in Panama, she loves bringing her Latina perspective and her passion for political and social conversations into everyday life.
An avid reader and lover of films, fashion and flowers, Dani can usually be found journaling, watching a comfort show, or falling into an oddly specific research rabbit hole. She also loves horseback riding and hunting around for gluten-free food that is actually worth eating.
Dani is extremely picky about coffee, which she proudly attributes to her Costa Rican blood. She enjoys discovering new cafés, having deep conversations with friends, and finding the bigger meaning behind seemingly unserious things.
