Colette is a first-year student writer at Her Campus at the University of Virginia, planning on double majoring in French & Media Studies.
Beyond Her Campus, Colette is a member of the women's club volleyball team at UVA. During her time in high school, she was an active member in her school's journalism department, serving as the editor-in-chief of her school's yearbook. Being a part of the yearbook staff developed a desire to learn more about media and journalism, and is what lead to her desire to pursue these areas of study in the future.
Colette is originally from Northern Virginia. In her free time, she enjoys playing both indoor and outdoor volleyball, pickleball, as well as hiking and being outdoors. She enjoys writing as well, which was what inspired her to join Her Campus!
