I am a Junior Science, Technology, and Society and Biology major at Vassar College interested in pursuing public health, consulting, and entrepreneurship. I’m from Queens, NY, and am the daughter of Chinese Immigrants.
At Vassar, I worked in the Innovation labs, am a biology lab intern, am the Vice President of Prohealth, am a CARE “Comfort Women” Redress Grant recipient, and do intensive research in biorobotic modeling. I am passionate about accessible mental health and public health services, as they are crucial to the overall health of students on campus.
I run Cher Studios through the Vassar Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program where I offer various beauty services to students on campus, and I want to explore how to write about events here at Vassar about accessibility, inclusivity, and public health. I love trying new things and acquiring new skills. I am so thankful that Her Campus is a safe space to enhance my journalism skills and allow me the creative freedom of diving into a plethora of topics.
In my free time, I like to weightlift, practice yoga, watch personal finance media, spend time with friends, and try new things.
