Chayla Chester is a staff writer at Her Campus at its Florida State University chapter. She covers each subject, but, by far, her favorite thing to write about would have to be the culture section, especially any topics concerning film and television. As a life-long cinephile and amateur photographer, Chayla finds herself drawn most to the arts segment of Her Campus.
Beyond Her Campus, Chayla finds herself within a plethora of activity. For one semester of her freshman year, she worked at the Department of Student Engagement at Florida State. There she worked to aid students and organizations and whatever issues may have illed them. She is currently a sophomore at Florida State University, majoring in Human Rights and Social Justice with no yet declared minor.
In her free time, Chayla enjoys utilizing her AMC A-List subscription the fullest extent she can. She enjoys reading and writing, though her attention span still needs some work. As someone with no car and no plans to get that or a license, she loves to walk, ride her yellow beach cruiser, and relish the luxurious public transportation of Tallahassee. Chayla is a sitcom aficionado, and she often gets much too invested in them.
