Camille Clivens

Texas '29

Camille Clivens is a new writer for the Her Campus at Texas chapter. She has always had a passion for learning, writing, and storytelling. She loves connecting with others and sharing ideas, whether it’s through writing, discussion, or creative projects. Always curious, she approaches life with energy and a drive to make the most of every opportunity. Camille is very opinionated, often navigating her storytelling with personal experiences giving her writing a unique perspective on controversial topics as well as a connection to a general amount of people that may not feel heard.

Outside of Her Campus, Camille is an Economics major on a Pre-Law track hoping for a career in Real Estate Law. She is fascinated by how law shapes communities and enjoys bringing her curiosity and drive to every project she tackles. She often enjoys doing community work for local communities, a notable project being a thrift store for her local community. Through her studies, she hopes to combine her love for advocacy with a practical understanding of business and property, making a meaningful impact in her future career.

When not writing or buried in classwork, Camille can often be found engaging in a plethora of hobbies. Her hobbies include drawing, painting, crocheting, fashion, and playing video games and instruments. Camille gravitates toward all things design and creative, whether it’s experimenting with DIY projects, exploring new artistic techniques, or simply finding ways to make everyday life more fun. For her, creativity is a way to connect, express herself, and bring a little more joy into the world.

A fun fact is that Camille is not a Texas native, but is in fact from New Orleans, Louisiana!
