Hi! My name is Bailey and I am a senior here at JMU, studying English and Secondary Education, hoping to one day become a high school English teacher! At JMU, I am also involved in the University Program Board in the Amplify concert and event committee, as well as a student employee for Residence Life. I have always loved to read and write a variety of genres, so I'm very excited for this year and experience.
I would describe my writing category as overwhelmingly miscellaneous. However, my guilty pleasure is pop culture writing. Whether about music, film, social media drama, or fashion trends, pop culture is something I believe to be not only incredibly entertaining, but at times informative: a perfect mix of what I find to be the most valuable aspects of reading. Other than reading and writing, I also love photography, watching movies, hiking and camping, trying a new baking recipe, and playing card and video games.
