Asli Celik

Asli Celik is a sophomore at Montclair State University double majoring in Political Science and Finance, with a minor in German Studies. She is involved in the Montclair State Honors Program, the Montclair Equestrian Club, and Montclair’s Turkish Student Association.
As a first-generation, international student, Asli writes about culture and politics, and their influence on the personal identities and lived experiences of women. She hopes that by sharing these insightful and empathetic stories she can empower women, helping them feel seen, heard, and inspired to engage with the world on their own terms!
