I’m Arrynn, and I’m proud to be from New Orleans, Louisiana, city full of soul, resilience, and culture that’s shaped who I am. I graduated from Destrehan High School in May of 2023, and that moment marked the beginning of a new chapter for me. I chose to attend Southern University because of its prestigious nursing program, and I knew it was the right place to grow both academically and personally.
Being at Southern has been an incredible experience so far. I love meeting new people and forming genuine connections. Whether it’s bonding with classmates over late-night study sessions or sharing stories that reflect our different backgrounds, I thrive on building relationships that matter. I believe that every person I meet has something to teach me, and I carry that mindset into every interaction.
My passion for nursing goes beyond textbooks and exams, it’s rooted in a desire to care, to advocate, and to empower. I plan to be the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves. I want to be the kind of nurse who not only treats patients but uplifts them. Southern is helping me build that foundation, and I’m excited for everything that lies ahead. This journey is just beginning, and I’m embracing every step with purpose and pride!
