My name is Ariana Jeanty, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health at the University of Houston. My academic journey has been deeply rooted in my passion for community wellness, and I am dedicated to understanding and addressing the health challenges that young women face today. Joining Her Campus has been a significant step for me as it allows me to engage and contribute to a platform that creates meaningful content and events tailored for young women. I believe in the power of community, and I am excited to be part of a movement that supports, empowers, and inspires young women to achieve their goals and thrive in their personal and professional lives.
Outside of my academic pursuits, I am an individual with a diverse array of interests that help to shape my identity. I have a keen interest in health and wellness, which is reflected in my practice of yoga. This not only helps me stay physically fit but also promotes mental clarity and emotional balance. Additionally, I am a collector of vinyl records and CDs, which allows me to immerse myself in the rich tapestry of music from different eras. My appreciation for music is matched only by my love for makeup, where I enjoy experimenting with different styles and techniques to express myself creatively.
In my downtime, you can often find me indulging in my favorite pastimes: reading gripping novels, binge-watching movies and TV shows, or exploring new recipes in the kitchen. Cooking has become a form of therapy for me; it offers a chance to unwind while creating something delicious. Whether it’s experimenting with new cuisines or dabbling in healthy alternatives, I find joy in the culinary process. Overall, I strive to balance my educational goals with my personal interests, creating a well-rounded life where I can continue to learn, grow, and connect with others.
