Hi, my name is Aleesha Frostenson. I am currently a sophomore at the University of Colorado Boulder, where I am majoring in finance and minoring in leadership studies. I am passionate about understanding financial systems and how financial decisions impact everyday lives. During my time at CU Boulder, I hope to expand my education in personal finance, as I aim to explore the positive impact that personal finance can have.
As well as being a full-time student, I currently hold two part-time positions that have helped me become a well-rounded individual. I work for the CU Boulder Testing Center, I support students and staff by maintaining an organized, efficient, and respectful testing environment. As well, I work for a local family-owned popcorn store within my hometown. I have been able to strengthen my customer service skills, adaptability, and communication skills, contributing to a small business that values community.
Balancing multiple roles has taught me the importance of time management, accountability, and organization. These are qualities I bring to every project and team that I am a part of.
Outside of school and work, I love to read, bake, and explore creative hobbies like arts and crafts. I enjoy environments where I can collaborate, learn, and contribute. Which is why I am very excited about the opportunity to be a part of this club.
