Summer has arrived, and for most students that means no more having to routinely hit the snooze button (apologies to my roommate), and no more rushing to the nearest Starbucks to beat the early morning coffee enthusiasts who have you convinced that they must’ve been camped out all night. If you happen to be one of those coffee fanatics, or you just like to occasionally fulfill your caffeine intake, then it’s time to put down that double shot espresso, and try something a little on the sweeter side.
Now, I’m pretty sure the award for understatement of the year goes to “Texas summers are hot.” When the temperature gets to be over 100 degrees, the only thing on my mind is how to keep cool without running up the air conditioning bill. Instead of worrying about how you’re going to keep cool this summer, just sit back, relax and enjoy these thirst quenching suggestions.

Starbucks’ Strawberries & Crème Frappuccino® will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth and is essential for the perfect picnic. (first pictured)

The Tazo® Shaken Iced Passion Tea is a tropical treat that is not only refreshing, but is also swimsuit friendly by containing zero grams of fat. (second pictured)

If you’re a little hesitant on abandoning all traces of coffee, then the Caramel Frappuccino® has that coffee taste with just enough caramel sauce and whipped crème to satisfy any of your caffeine separation issues. (last pictured)
