To get through the final weeks of the school year, solid procrastination tools are a must. While most collegiettes probably have their routine set complete with a list of websites they browse during study breaks, it may be time to reinstate an old friend. The totally new and revamped Myspace is now a lot more discovering new music and following your favorite artists, and a lot less high-angle duck face pictures. The site lets you put playlists in a queue, perfect for people like me with a serious condition of “I’ll listen to it later.” Myspace is also still that site that you may find the next big thing (before anyone else, most importantly), because it’s such a hub for fresh talent wanting to be heard.

With such an emphasis on music this time around, Myspace decided to rock South By Southwest with a series of Secret Shows, the grand finale headlined by none other than Justin Timberlake.

HCTX was there to witness JT serenade the audience from behind a piano during “Senorita,” on a guitar during “What Goes Around…Comes Around,” and to receive his St. Patrick’s Day toast and beer chug. Justin and the Tennessee Kids gave the audience a glimpse inside “The 20/20 Experience” by performing a few smooth sounding tracks from album, but kept us all in the know by playing a set riddled with Timberlake classics. Justin’s tuxedo T-shirt was just an unforeseen bonus making a nostalgic ending to SXSW all the more memorable.
