If one was to ever visit Hampton University, they would quickly learn that the student body is active. Rarely would you find someone who is not involved in some type of club, organization, or society. One of the faces that many Hamptonians recognize is Ashley Bozeman.
Ashley is a part of a plethora of organizations at Hampton University. She is a member of the Greer Dawson Student Leadership Program, the William R. Harvey Leadership Institute, the Hampton University Honors College, the Golden Key International Honour Society, and lastly a part of Majestic, an urban hip-hop dance group on campus. It is not hard to wonder how she balances these extracurricular activities along with classes.
Bozeman, originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, chose Hampton University because she felt that it was time for a change of scenery. She was used to her family moving every three to four years, so by the time college rolled around, she was ready to experience a new place. Being at Hampton University has created many memories for Ashley, her most memorable memory is the start of each new school year. She enjoys the fresh start each year brings and how everyone is happy and able to reunite with friends before the stress of classes and deadlines.
Bozeman has really big hopes for this school year as well as next school year. She finally has gotten the hang of juggling all of the many activities that she is involved with and has become a role model for other students at Hampton University.
