What role are you currently playing in ‘Pride & Prejudice’, and why did you want to play it?

Mr. Bingley and Mr. Gardiner. I was excited for both characters because of how they approach life in a positive way.

What was the first show you ever did?

A backyard production of Molière’s The School for Wives.

What role would you love to play that you haven’t yet?

Zastrozzi in George F. Walker’s Zastrozzi.

What is something embarrassing or unexpected that happened to you on stage?

One time onstage, a cast member fell backwards and I had to catch her. It was received well by the audience, so we decided to keep it in for the rest of the show.

When did you first know you wanted to become an actor?

I don’t know if I can pin down that moment. It was a mild interest 4 years ago that turned into something much more than that.

What show are you doing/auditioning for next?

I can be seen next in the Telus Studio, in UBC’s production of The Seagull!

Have you ever forgotten your lines, or a prop, or choreography during a performance? What happened?

There have been some times when lines are dropped or messed up, but as long as you’re focused on the scene and your scene partners, you can always find your way out of the woods.

Love Life

Best date: This past August, my girlfriend and I hiked for 6 hours to the peak of Mt. Steele on the Sunshine Coast. When we got to the cabin, we cooked dinner and played Settlers of Catan with some other hikers.

Biggest turn off in a partner: Lack of originality

Most attractive thing in a partner: Originality
