Colby’s First Snow!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Colby chapter.

This Sunday, I woke up to snow blowing everywhere outside my window! I was surprised, to say the least. I spent my morning curled up in bed watching “Gilmore Girls,” drinking tea, and gazing out at the snow; it was the perfect winter morning. When afternoon rolled around, though, I had to brave the day. I bundled up in leggings, boots, and close to 1,000 layers, and made the trek across campus to my rehearsal. On my way, I stopped for a second (yes, even though it was freezing) and took this picture. Even though the snow was blowing everywhere and I was sure that it was soaking through my supposedly water-proof boots to my feet, campus had never looked more beautiful. So I took this picture to share with all of you and to remind everyone that, even though it could be gross out, we should stop and appreciate the beauty that is Mother Nature.
