Wellness Wednesday: Keep Eating Healthy

Did you know that every year the number one new year’s resolution is to lose weight? We are now in the second month of the new year and this is when people start to give up on that new year’s resolution. I have promised myself every year, month, week and day that I will be healthier with my food intake. A lot of us feel the same way, but what makes this extremely hard is not the working out or drinking more water. The biggest issue is the food. Let me just say I love my carbs, sweets and fats. If we consume all of those things, losing weight will not possible. So, eating the plain boring fish and not so yummy vegetables can get boring fast. Fear not collegiettes™, I am here to help you eat some diet friendly food and still satisfy your want of eating that hamburger or pizza. The best part is it is right at your fingertips, easy and free.

Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube have been helping us share, like, tweet and watch. One of the best parts of these social media sites is that all of the people want to educate us on numerous things. These sites have tons of healthy food recipes! Now this recipes are not your usually Food Network channels. They are from everyday people who are trying to stay or become fit just like us, and they’re sharing all of their secrets for free.

One great example of delicious healthy food is Fit Men Cook. This health conscious chef will guide you to the way of great eating.

This meal right here are called sweet potato slide. These cute little sliders include sweet potato, spinach, tomato, turkey, mozzarella cheese, and BBQ sauce.
