For our first-ever Campus Cutie, we decided to interview Luke McArthy. He is a kind and humble guy who may seem shy at first, but he is actually one of the best young men we’ve had the pleasure of meeting on campus.

HC: Who is your ultimate celebrity crush and why?LM: “My ultimate celebrity crush is… Oh, that’s a tough one. I would have to say Jennifer Aniston because I think she is very pretty.”
HC: Do you prefer blondes or brunettes?LM: “I could go either way. It just depends, but I’ll say blonde.”
HC: Where is your favorite place on campus?LM: “Probably the baseball field or my room and the gym as well.”
HC: If you could describe yourself in one word what would it be?LM: “Curious.”
HC: What are your deal breakers in a relationship?LM: “I guess just like odor, I can’t really think of anything super specific or maybe like someone being standoffish.”
HC: What are your hobbies?LM: “I like playing baseball, playing poker… I like working out. I don’t know if that sounds too basic.”
HC: What position do you play?LM: “Pitcher.”
HC: Favorite bands or music?LM: “Favorite band is Metallica. I like Avenged Sevenfold.”
HC: How do you feel about being nominated as a Campus Cutie at CLU?LM: “Well once you told me what the requirements were, I felt very honored to be chosen.”
HC: What do you look for in a girl? LM: “I like personality – girls that are kind of different, kind of mysterious… Different but not in a bad way, just something that makes you want to get to know them.”
HC: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?LM: “Hopefully I will have a job, and I see myself probably living here or back in Vegas. It is kind of a tough question for me because I don’t know what I want to major in yet. I don’t like thinking too much into the future. It kind of makes you lose the sense of spontaneity.”
HC: What is your ideal first date?LM: “Something like dinner probably. Something where there’s not too much activity so there’s a lot of conversation so I could gather a lot of information about that person.”
