Sweeten up Your Day with Insomnia Cookies

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at FSU chapter.

It’s midnight, you’re on hour five of decoding your homework at Strozier Library and you’re searching for some late night nourishment. But wait, how about during the daytime? You’ve sat through far too many lectures, nearly got ran over by a man on a hover board and you’re just looking to sweeten up your day. How does some mint chocolate chip ice cream sound? A s’mores deluxe cookie perhaps?

If you’re in agreement with the above, you’re in luck. Don’t worry, we all fall victim. Located in University Square, 1525 W. Tennessee St., Insomnia Cookies is your one-stop shop for satisfying your sweet tooth fix 16 hours a day. Coming in hot, this local bakery delivers from 12 p.m. to 3 a.m., opening for pick up at 11 a.m. A late-night cookie joint that delivers during the daytime too? What more could a college student ask for?

The delivery of brownies, cookie cakes and ice cream sandwiches to say the least. Actually, that’s the most. That’s right, Insomnia Cookies reaches far outside of the traditional cookie with a myriad of menu items. This local eatery offers 9 distinct cookie flavors with three deluxe versions and 8 flavors of ice cream. I mean, who wouldn’t want options?

I suggest trying the Cookiewich: cold, creamy ice cream sandwiched between two warm, delicious cookies.

Or the Bigwich: two traditional cookies with delicious icing sandwiched in between. From September 21 to September 28, Insomnia Cookies will be running a deal on the Bigwich for $5. I’d say it’s a pretty big deal.

Insomnia Cookies strives to positively impact and be a part of communities and foundations on and off campus. From September 28 to October 5, $1 from every in-store and online purchase will be donated to breast cancer research in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Hosting an event or fundraiser to raise money for a cause your organization supports? Reach out to Insomnia Cookies for donations.

Insomnia Cookies not only aims to target college students, but local professionals as well who are seeking alternative catering options for client meetings or treats for coworkers. Ready to try some? Find Insomnia Cookies around campus or at your local Tallahassee event to score yourself a cookie sample, coupons or some merchandise.

But wait, don’t stop there. Be sure to download the Insomnia Cookies app to start earning loyalty points today. There’s no better way to fill cravings than with rewards.

These freshly baked cookies and delightful frozen desserts will be sure to satisfy those late night, or early afternoon cravings and leave you wondering why you hadn’t ordered more. If this is a sign that you stay up too late, think of it as a good thing. We all tend to be more proactive later in the night anyway when everyone else has gone to sleep and there’s nobody left to socialize with. Why not be incentivized for it?!
