It’s that time of year againcold season. The soundtrack of classrooms is a symphony of sniffles and coughs, but there are some all-natural ways you can stop that cold before it even begins.

Vitamin C

Taking vitamin C pills, packets, juice, or eating extra oranges is a good way to keep your immune system strong when you feel that your body is beginning to show signs of a cold. Vitamin C is full of nourishing antioxidants that help to keep you healthy.  

Apple Cider Vinegar

It’s best to use no more than one or two tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar diluted with water.  Hold your noseit does not taste goodand drink the mixture in as few sips as you can. In the body, apple cider vinegar can help kill bacteria before it starts to grow or spread. It also helps to improve digestive health.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is a miracle in a jar. Coconut oil, if taken regularly, can help improve your immune system over time due to the myriad of healthy acids and healthy fats contained in the oil. In a pinch, if you want to shorten the duration of your cold, take an overflowing spoonful of naturally unrefined, virgin coconut oil.
