Early morning run, to keep that Activity Level up, and yes, I am calculating out how much more I can eat for the day after this.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and all, but coffee is a Nutrition major’s life blood. (We learn that in anatomy).
When friends are trying to plan something fun: “That sounds great! Let me just check my sched- oh. Oh no. Never mind. Wow. Is it hot in here? I’m feeling a little nauseous”.
Time for class! I’ve got the best classmates, even though they’re all stressing out, they put on a smile for this picture.
I’ve got three labs a week. This is one of them. They’re great. I love them all. The last part wasn’t true.
After lab, it’s time for a trip to the grocery store. It’s like a Nutrition major’s playground. However, it does take about six hours because I have to read every nutrition label. Twice.
Now I planned to cook something exotic and nutrient-dense for dinner. I must have looked up a million recipes throughout the day. I think about food all day, every day. And what do I come up with? Broccoli. Lots of broccoli. Endless broccoli fields of green.
Somehow, there’s always something to study for. So I’ll be here for the rest of the night (minus the 5 hours I get to sleep / dream about vegetables).
