5 Times Being a First Year is the Worst

1. Someone openly judging you for using the lanyard from orientation.

I don’t see what the big deal is, it’s useful AND it shows school spirit. Go Seawolves!

2. Not knowing where the hell your class in the library is.  

Because it makes so much sense to have calculus recitation in the Asian language department.

3. Thinking that going to the SAC for breakfast every morning is a good idea.

Juice and a muffin not only gets boring fast, but that’s a really awful breakfast combo.

4. When you could make the walk to Keller with your eyes closed because your mother continues to find things around the house that you HAVE to have.  

(Shout out to our moms for the care packages though).

5. Accidentally giving a place a made up nickname and acting like everyone should already know what you meant.

Because you think it’s way cooler to call the Earth and Space Sciences building “ESS.”
