1. Don’t be afraid to take chances.

Parsons advised that trying new things – whether on social media or with content – will help readers stay engaged and eager to come back to your site.

2. Figure out what works best for you.

What you set goals, it’s helpful to know where you’ve been, what you’re doing now, and where you want to go. Have a plan that suits the strengths of your team, and don’t be afraid to grow and learn in the process.

3. Make it appealing.

It doesn’t take time to lose the attention of your audience, so make sure the content you produce is relevant, interesting and easily available to readers. Always keep your target audience in mind – it might impact how you present certain materials on the web and elsewhere!

4. Facebook is huge. Use it.

Social media is a key part of the day for most college-aged students. Use this to your advantage! Facebook is especially key – and linking to and from your content with Facebook has proven to be one of the best audience generators there is.

5. Millennials are your best friends.

With population of millennials leading today’s workforce, it’s a great idea to network and collaborate with as many of today’s most educated generation as possible. Take advantage of your skills and put the, to good use! Great ideas have to start somewhere – don’t hold back!
