1. OMSI – Oregon Museum of Science and Industry

A little bit on the pricier side but well-worth the money, especially when there are some cool exhibits. OMSI is filled with interactive exhibits and displays to have fun with!

 

2. Living Room Theater

Just down the street from Powell’s Books, you can find a cute little movie theater that prides itself on providing a comfortable environment to enjoy films in. Kick back and relax with some delicious food in an award-winning theater.

3. Blue Star Donuts

A yummy stop if you’re exploring the downtown scene! Blue Star may not be as iconic to outsiders as VooDoo, but their delicious donuts make up for that. They’ve even got some for any vegans out there.

4. Forest Park

For the outdoorsy folks, check out this awesome park right in the city, only minutes from downtown. With eight miles of wilderness and beautiful trails to explore, you won’t get bored here!

5. Portland Japanese Garden

Said to be one of the best Japanese gardens outside of Japan, this little piece of paradise is the perfect place to take a walk and just relax.

6. Portland Art Museum

Located in downtown is the oldest museum in the Northwest, filled to the brim with exciting and interesting works of art that anyone can enjoy

7. Powell’s Books

One of the best and most well-known bookstores in the world can be found here in our city! Grab a couple cups of coffee in the cafe then explore the wonderful maze of stories.
