Seasons
Your love is like a cool spring dayÂ
Sweet, innocent, tender, and newÂ
I heard the sound of bird’s chirping
And smelled the freshness of flower’s at bloom
With a quick glance in your eyes,Â
I knew it was just me and you.Â
Â
Your love was like a hot summer day,
Passionate, rough, but full of love.
Starting off slow,
But we quickly started moving fast.
Screams of strong proclamations of love,Â
And a dire need to please all of you.Â
When it’s all over,
We lay together in our naked embrace.Â
You smile at me,
And I at you.
No wirds neededÂ
With a simple quick galance in your eyes.
Â
Your love was like a breezy fall day.
Falling leaves and changing colors,Â
But what of us?
Stronger than ever
Huddled tight to your sweaterÂ
I looked in your eyes and knew
That there could be anyone better than you.Â
Â
Only,Â
When you looked into mines,
You couldn’t say that the same feeling ran true.
