Poetic Mondays: Do You? (B.E.S 3/11)
We present to you part three of Brown Eyed Soul’s eleven part series of poems. As always let’s start off by letting you know that these poems were written after the author went through a difficult break-up. So as always we remind you to express yourself and deal with your emotions by creating something wonderful just like these poems.
Do you miss me when I’m not near?
When you’re with the girls drinking a beer?
When you’re in bed staring at the ceiling,
Do you feel any kind of feeling?
When it’s nighttime and you get cold,
Is it me you want to hold?
When the sun is breaking your morning,
Is it me the one you’re longing?
When you got time and nowhere to be,
Do you want to be with me?
And when the world is at your case,
Do you recall the first time you saw my face?
Are you my lover or are you my friend?
‘Cause I feel it’s all about to end.
You don’t treat me like you used to;
You’re not the one I thought I knew.
But I got all of this love for you;
Oh I wish you would come through.
‘Cause the thought of you not being here,
It is still my biggest fear.
