10 GIFs That Perfectly Describe the Impending Doom of Finals

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Cal Lutheran chapter.

Finals week is a pure disaster of late-nights, desperate cramming, and anxious memorizing. Material you may or may not have once known eludes your mind.

During the last few days just before finals when professors have no homework due, no last-minute tests, no essays to finish, there comes the calm before the finals storm. You must make the decision to begin studying, or soak up your last few minutes of pre-stress glory.

So here’s 10 GIFs that perfectly describe the impending doom of finals:

Your conscience knows you should study, but your heart wants you to have fun.

When you actually sit down and try learn everything you’ve forgotten over the semester:

Realizing your old exams and quizzes count for almost nothing compared to the final:

Trying to study, but your eyes are just so heavy…

You finally think you’ve got the ball rolling (literally)…

And then…NOPE.

And a 10-minute study break turns into a full weekend.

Time flies when you’re having fun!

When that one professor gives you a non-cumulative final:

You didn’t realize what you were getting yourself into when you signed up for college.

When life give you lemons, you make lemonade, right?

When your friends with only one or two finals make plans without you:

They knew you’d say no since you have all those exams…

But soon it will be summer.

And all of your finals woes will be forgotten:

Until December…
