Stockton’s Stress-Free Zone

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Stockton chapter.

On Tuesday, in preparation for finals, Stockton University held a “stress less” event for its students. A visiting truck from the nearby Atlantic City Aquarium brought sharks, stingrays, horseshoe crabs, and starfish that students eagerly pet.

Therapy dogs from a local branch of the organization TDI greeted the school with wagging tails, allowing students and faculty alike to hold and pet them (some were even dressed in cute little tutus!) I Wing featured a mini pony that many students snapped pictures with, bearing a startling resemblance to Parks and Rec’s beloved Lil’ Sebastian. Student clubs and organizations, such as CLAWS and SET, also contributed to the stress free zone with free things, food and drinks, and other fun activities.
