This weekend was Friends, Family, and Alumni Weekend at Lasell. The school coordinated wonderful activities, like a trip to the hit musical Jersey Boys at the Boston Opera House. The musical is currently on tour, and this happened to be one of their final shows in Boston.
The show follows Frankie Valli and his friends as they try to make it big in the entertainment industry as a band, “The Four Seasons”. In this story of success and tragedy, you learn a lot about the group and their bond. The show was filled with hysterical jokes, and a few dark moments. It included some classic songs, like “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You”, “Working My Way Back To You”, and “December, 1963”. The music was well performed, and a beat was not missed. Audience members learned more about the famous pop/rock band while listening to timeless music. Thank you Lasell for this great experience!
