This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Ottawa chapter.

Does your sweet tooth long for the richness, gooeyness, and freshness of that perfect homemade cookie without the added guilt of where it will land on your thighs? Or the time it will take you to bake when really you should be studying? Here are 5 healthy cookie options that use 5 ingredients or less. You can finally have the best of both worlds, and it will surely satisfy your cravings!

1. The Ultimate Breakfast Cookie
Surprised by the title? Don’t be! These cookies are not only egg-free, but they are guilt-free too. These easy 3 ingredient breakfast cookies will have you going to bed anxious just to wake up again.

2. Chewy Honey Lemon Cookies
This recipe called for a lot of extra sugar, but did you know honey is a healthier substitute for granulated sugar? This recipe may not be the healthiest option on this list, but I can never resist including lemon in one of my recipes! Moderation is key here.

Optional: for a bit of extra sweetness, combine honey and lemon to create a light glaze. Drizzle over cookies once cooled.

4. Peanut Butter Banana Cookies
In my personal opinion, bananas and peanut butter go together just as well as peanut butter and jelly. It just so happens that bananas offer a great alternative to eggs when baking, particularly for those of you with food allergies or vegan preferences.

5. No-Bake Chocolate Oat Cookies
These are by far my favourite on this list! With no baking required, these are the easiest cookies I have ever made for the delicious macaroon inspired flavour they provide.
